The Laurentia Hotel is in the very hub of San Lorenzo - an
area famous for its nearby university (La Sapienza) and its
great value for money Roman restaurants and pizzerias. Offering
typical local cuisine (La Cucina Romana) and a throbbing
and youthful atmosphere, San Lorenzo is also renowned for
its vibrant bars and nightlife. At the front of the hotel
is a large piazza and straight opposite is the church of the
Immacolata and its beautiful bell tower. In the morning there
is a small fruit market which sells all local produce.
This 3 star Rome hotel is no more than a 5 minute taxi ride
from Rome’s main railway station, ‘Termini’.
Surrounded by cobbled streets and old style apartments, San
Lorenzo is a fantastic area to explore, especially at night
but also by day.
The Laurentia Hotel stands quite close to all the main attractions
that the historical centre has to offer. The Colosseum is
around 15 minutes on foot from our entrance and the Roman
Forum is around the same. The Vatican and St Peter’s
are a bit further away but can be accessed very quickly from
Termini station on the underground tube system. Termini to
Ottaviano takes about 15 minutes.
The two main airports are Leonardo da Vinci airport which
is 30 km away and Ciampino airport which is about 14 km from
the hotel. Airport transfers can be pre booked with the hotel
via our Real
Time Online Booking System. Take a look now at
