Tthe St. Regis Grand Hotel Rome was
the first 5 star deluxe hotel in
Rome built in 1894. It is still referred to by many
under its previous name "Le Grand Hotel"
and indeed this name can still be seen on the building's
exterior just below the roof (click on the photo here
on the right). All of Rome's major attractions are
within walking distance including the stylish shopping
area of the Spanish Steps and Via del Corso. The hotel
underwent a complete renovation in 1999 and has now
been restored to its rightful position as one of the
finest 5-star deluxe hotels Rome. The St. Regis Rome
was recently named to Condé Nast Traveler's
Gold List.
Rome is quite a handy meeting place
for the world's leading countries and as a consequence
quite often international summits are held here...
Many dignitaries, heads of state and government officers
choose the St Regis as their luxury hotel in Rome.
The reason being that St. Regis Hotel has a long history
of accommodating Italian and Foreign VIPs and indeed

surprises await you however, we must insist that before
you leave us you enjoy a truly unforgettable dining
experience at our restaurant Vivendo, voted the number

style and design-layout.
Formerly as Le Grand Hotel (our previous
name) our private wine cellar the
"Di Vino" was much vaunted in high society
circles throughout the world. Now as the St. Regis
Hotel the cellar has lost none of it's international
prestige and "depositaire de l'enotheque Dom
Perignon" warmly invites you for a unique private
dining experience with regional and international
dishes enriched by a plethora of wines to complement
each dish. An English style silver service butler
is available for private functions and banquets.
